Dr. Shahid attended college at Williams College in Massachusetts, followed by medical school at St. George’s University.He then pursued a research fellowship in muscluloskeletal radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, focusing his researchon peripheral nerve imaging and intraneural ganglion cysts. He then completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, followed by a diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital. At MGH he worked with a number of professional athletes and teams both with high end MRI diagnostics, and image guided treatments of sports and other injuries. His current interests, in addition to general radiology, include diagnostic and interventional related treatments of all musculoskeletal disorders for professionals and the general public.
